Police on Friday released the identity of the passenger killed when the car she was in was struck by a Lamborghini on Christmas Eve in Queens.
Fifty-four-year-old Ritawantee Persaud of Ozone Park died when the 2018 Toyota Camry she was in was struck by a Lamborghini Urus just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of 103rd Ave and Rockaway Boulevard in Ozone Park, police said.
Both the 50-year-old male driver of the Toyota and Persaud suffered severe trauma to the head and body, and were taken to Jamaica Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.
A 26-year-old passenger of the Lamborghini suffered head and spine injuries, cops said.
The driver of the Lamborghini Urus — an SUV whose price starts at around $218,000- fled the scene, police said.
A large quantity of marijuana and a knife were found in the Urus, police said.
