So much for May flowers.
Up to 3 inches of snow is expected to fall upstate over the weekend, meteorologists said Friday.
A western portion of the state near the Adirondacks, including Buffalo, is expected to be hit with the dusting on late Saturday and early Sunday, according to Syracuse.com
“The snow could be enough to shovel across the higher terrain,” National Weather Service’s office in Buffalo told the outlet. “Portions of the Finger Lakes could pick up a quick 2 to 4 or 3 to 5 inches of snow out of this system.”
The snow will be gone by Sunday afternoon, when temperatures are expected to warm to 40 degrees.
New York City will be partly sunny with a high of 59 degrees Saturday, according to Accuweather.com.
