Emotional moment couple are reunited with their beloved dogs three days after they were stolen outside M&S

THIS is the moving moment a couple were reunited with their beloved dogs, three days after they were cruelly stolen from outside an M&S store.

An extraordinary social media appeal led to Black Labs Denzel and Welly being rightfully returned to owners Charlotte and Dale Robson today.

Shocking CCTV footage showed the moment two men made off with the pet pooches after the Robson's had left them outside Marks and Spencer on Market Street in Cheshire just after 6pm on Saturday.

Three people – including a 14-year-old boy – have been arrested on suspicion of theft after the dogs were found at an address in Stoke-on-Trent this morning, according to Nantwich Police.

A 37-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman, and the teen are in custody to be questioned as part of the investigation into the dog-napping scandal.

The labradors were finally reunited with their "very relieved" owners, who were left "utterly heartbroken" when the family pets were snatched in broad daylight.

Charlotte, who has an Instagram account with nearly 20,000 followers sharing her family snaps featuring her darling doggies, revealed the incredible news with an emotional snap cradling the boys.

She wrote: "We are absolutely lost for words at the power of social media and the incredible work of @cheshirepolice …. our boys are home!!!!

"This feeling is like no other and we will be doing everything in our power to make sure dogs are safe going forward. Thank you to each and every one of you who has shared, messaged, been out there, offered help and anything and everything in between!!!

"We are driving our boys home as I type this and oh how we can't wait to see our girls' faces."

The mother-of-two had heartbreakingly told her followers she "didn't know how we are going to explain them not being here in the morning to the girls" after they were stolen from outside the supermarket.

Charlotte decided to test the power of social media to help find Denzel and Welly, and her appeal was shared thousands of times across Instagram.

The couple had pledged to offer a "substantial reward" with no questions asked for the safe return of the dogs.

Her first post on the matter read: "I can’t believe I am writing this… the boys have been STOLEN and we are asking for everyone’s help to get them back where they belong.

"They were taken from outside M&S in Nantwich, Cheshire this evening (27.03.21 @ 18.10pm) but we have no idea how far they have been taken so please share this far and wide.

"They have a blue collar and lead and a grey collar and lead. There is CCTV showing two men dragging them up the street (swipe to watch).

"Please share this, please keep your eyes open and please keep your beautiful pets close to you tonight and give them a kiss from us.

"I always like to see the good in this world and the sense of community we have felt this evening has kept us going beyond belief.

"Let’s keep going and let’s #gettheboyshome".

The poignant appeal tugged at the heart strings of the nation, and eventually led to Denzel and Welly's highly-anticipated return.

The somber mood on social media has now been swapped for one of celebration, as users were "over the moon" at the news of the pair's safe return.

"Literally in work crying. I am so so so made up for you," one user wrote.

"This is incredible! I'm so happy that your boys are back to you safely," another comment read.

"I've not been able to think of anything else. I'm so happy they're okay," one follower said.

The awful abduction of the Labrador's comes amid an epidemic of dog thefts throughout the last year.
