Disney star Cameron Boyce's heartbroken dad releases tragic photo of actor son, 20, just hours before his sudden death

DISNEY star Cameron Boyce's dad last night released a heartbreaking photo of the young actor just hours before his sudden death.

Devastated Victor Boyce shared the tragic image of his son as he thanked well-wishers for supporting his family through their grief.

He wrote on Instagram: "My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives.

"I miss him terribly.

"I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy.

"The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated.

"Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation."

Cameron – who suffered from epilepsy – tragically died from a seizure in his sleep on Saturday aged 20.

An autopsy was carried out on Monday but the coroner said "further investigation" was needed before the cause of death could be confirmed.

On Wednesday, a spokesman for the devastated family said: "Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.

"We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral – which in and of itself, is agonising."

Earlier, dad Victor described his agony as a “nightmare he can’t wake up from”.

He tweeted: "I’m overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received.

"It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from.

"I can’t thank you guys enough."

His uncle also paid moving tribute to his “beloved nephew”, writing that his “heart is broken”.
