Who left Bake Off 2020 last night?

THE Great British Bake Off is proving a big hit but week five saw another baker's journey come to an end.

The fifth episode saw pastry on the menu with the remaining hopefuls tasked with making some delicious baked goods, but unfortunately one more baker had to leave the show.

Who left Bake Off 2020 last night?

Linda, a 61-year-oldRetirement Living Team Leader from East Essex, found Pastry Week hard to swallow and she was eliminated from The Great British Bake Off in week five.

It just wasn't her night after she came last in the Technical Challenge after failing to make any eclairs.

The Showstopper then saw the bakers tasked with making caged tarts, and Linda’s completely fell apart with the judges left less than impressed.

Speaking about being on Bake Off, Linda, who revealed in week four that her daughter had died, said that she was “in awe” of the production team for managing to pull off the 2020 series, because of the pandemic.

What was this week's Bake Off theme?

The theme was of course Pastry Week.

The bakers put their own spin on a Cornish classic, a pasty, in the Signature challenge and were set a retro Technical challenge, where they made eclairs, with Peter coming out top.

For the Showstopper challenge they attempted to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with a tart in a pastry cage.

Laura got Star Baker after she impressed the judges with her Showstopper challenge.
