JAIME Winston's career went on the up when she took on the role of a lifetime playing the iconic and beloved actress, Barbara Windsor.

She is the daughter of TV and movie star Ray Winstone.
Jaime grew up in North London and studied briefly at drama school before dropping out to peruse a career in film.

Jaime has starred in many TV shows and films since becoming an actress.
These include Made In Dagenham, Bullet Boy, Daddy's Girl, Kidulthood, Vincent (alongside her dad), Totally Frank, Goldplated and Dead Set.

As she contemplates her lonely childhood and WWII evacuation, she considers her decision to go from Barbara Ann Deeks to Barbara Windsor – inspired by the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
