What time is The Bachelorette on tonight?
The season premiere of ABC's The Bachelorette airs at 8 pm on June 7.
Thurston became an instant fan favorite when she appeared on Matt James' season of The Bachelor.
She introduced herself to Matt – "vibrator in tow," according to her bio.
The 30-year-old Washington native is "adventurous, daring and ready for a man with whom she can build a life."
The marketing manager has "an innate social media savvy and humorous outlook on life" and "wants a man that will laugh along with her."
Thurston reportedly wrapped her season early by quickly sending home men she wasn't interested in dating.
Sources told Us Weekly that she was "in control" and very quickly sent lots of men home.
They told the outlet: “Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn’t interested in, she sent packing.”
What did Katie Thurston say about the upcoming season?
Thurston admitted that she was anxious about the upcoming season after taping the episodes.
She was asked if she’s “happy” during an Instagram Q&A with fans – and her reply was: “the short answer is yes.”
However, she confessed that she wanted to be "transparent" with her fans and said that she suffers from "anxiety," which she has sought out help for.
“I think with happiness, it’s not something that you have but something you create. And it’s something that you have to create daily," she said.
She continued: “That, I think, is the biggest thing that I’m learning right now, is how to be happy.
“That includes eliminating bad people from your life, that includes not reading the comments.
“For me, that includes seeing the doctor, which I’m going to go do on Monday, about anxiety.”
Katie explained how surrounding herself with positive influences has helped her through difficult times.
She added: “With it being Mental Health Awareness Month, I just thought it would be– I just thought I would be open.
“Everyone thinks I have this great, exciting life, and I do, but there’s a lot of hardship that comes with it, and I’m just gonna always want to be transparent with you guys, and just share my struggles and my successes as I figure things out as we go.”
