Towie's Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims spark fresh romance rumours as they leave NTAs arm-in-arm

THE Only Way Is Essex's Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims have sparked fresh romance rumours after leaving the National Television Awards arm-in arm last night.

The pair shocked fans in October when their secret two-year romance was revealed, coming to a head in an explosive bust-up on the show's Christmas special.

They didn't speak for months afterwards but managed to rekindle a friendship – and it looks like sparks could be flying between them again after the cosy display at yesterday's bash.

They looked happy and relaxed in each other's company as they wrapped their arms around each other – smiling widely as the cameras caught them.

Pete even carried Chloe's handbag, with the beauty ditching her shoes as she walked along the pavement barefoot.

She looked sensational in a bridal-white gown with a thigh-high split, and Pete was dressed in a quirky brown suit.

The move will no doubt excite fans, who watched on in shock as the truth behind their on-off relationship came to light last year.

Pete had ended things as he told Chloe at the time: "I can't be in a relationship, I can't give you what you want and I can't give you what you deserve and I know that."

Chloe walked off during filming, and months later Pete told The Sun that they still hadn't spoken – and she and half the Towie cast had unfollowed him on social media.

The mum-of-one had been left furious after Pete let slip that he'd been sleeping with his onscreen BFF on-and-off since 2018 during a couple's therapy session.

She raged at the time: "I just can't believe you blurted it out, I know it's a therapy session and you're meant to tell the truth, but it's always been our secret.

"I know people had their thoughts about it, but to confirm it, I was a little bit shocked."

And Pete admitted that sex had "made a mess of their friendship", sharing: "It is very hard to maintain a friendship when you do that because the lines get blurred and emotions get involved."
