This Morning thrown into chaos as Gino goes missing after ‘throwing up’ by car

Gino D’Acampo threw This Morning into chaos today after going missing – meaning that bosses have been left scrambling to fill his segment at the end of the show.

Host Phillip Schofield revealed that bosses were still scrambling to find out where Gino was and how they would be able to fill his Valentine’s slot at the show.

Revealing what was coming up at the end of the show, they shared a photo of a meal and captioned it "Gino’s Valentine’s Menu", which would air at 12:15pm.

Phil said: "We were getting in the mood for ‘amore’ today – in fact we booked a gondola – and, because who better to plan your Valentine’s than Gino D’Acampo?"

But Phil added: "He’s not made it in yet and there is every possibility that he may be poorly."

"So he may not be able to make it in at all?" Holly exclaimed.

"Which means we’ve got a great big cookery slot at the end of the show," Phil grimaced.

He then added: "Just so you know what’s happening here at the moment, we’re just figuring out whether he’s going to be here and if he isn’t going to be here what we’re actually going to do with all of that."

Holly asked: "Are we going to have to cook all of that ourselves?"

"I dunno," Phil replied. "And i don’t know what we’re going to do with the gondola!"

Later, Phil confirmed that Gino wouldn’t be doing the segment.

"There are reports of him getting out of his car and being sick," he said wincing.

He added that he and Holly would have to fill in for Gino and cook his food.
