The Chase’s Jenny Ryan unimpressed as lookalike player tries to ‘replace’ her

The Chase 's Jenny Ryan, aka The Vixen, was not impressed when contestant Zoe appeared on the show and tried to give herself a Chaser nickname.

As the pair faced off before Zoe's round, Zoe branded herself "the Vamp" taking on The Vixen, leading to a brutal putdown from Jenny.

Jenny kicked things off as she sat down, saying: "Hello hot-air Zoe.

"You're going down faster than a balloon than the Beast in the basket."

Zoe replied: "I doubt that. You may be the Vixen but I'm the Vamp."

She swiftly replied: "I do the nicknames around here," leaving Zoe looking very sheepish.

Jenny then gave the contestant another jab as she offered Jenny a high offer of £26,000 and £600 after Zoe won £6k in her cash builder.

As Zoe opted for the middle choice, Jenny said: "I'm surprised, I would've thought someone who was confident enough to give themselves a Chaser nickname would be confident enough to take the high offer."

Luckily Zoe made it into the final after going head to head with Jenny, with the quizzer saying the first person going through "is her worst nightmare".

Fans couldn't help but notice that Zoe looked incredibly similar to the Vixen, as she rocked the same bright red hair and dark outfit.

They rushed to social media to comment on the competitive tension between the pair, and how they looked related.

One wrote: "They’ve got rid of the Vixen and replaced her with the new chaser – who is a perfect duplicate of the Vixen…"

Another added: "Is that The Vixen's mother…"

A third chipped in: "Zoe and the Vixen – sisters much?"

A fourth said: "Zoe is trying to steal Jenny Ryan’s look."

The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV.
