The Chase fans have been left unimpressed with the show after Josh, a contestant who is blind, was asked questions about the colour of snooker balls.

Astrophysics student Josh teamed up with fellow contestants Lesley, Phil and Jen on the show, with the team battling against chaser Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett to win the cash prize.

After his quick fire round, which saw him rack up £5000 to play for, the first question host Bradley Walsh asked Josh was: ‘At the start of a snooker frame, which ball is placed furthest from the player?’

Josh incorrectly answered pink, with Mark choosing the right answer, black.

While some acknowledged that the questions are selected randomly, many weren’t happy that some of Josh’s questions made the cut.

One wrote: ‘Hard to believe but #TheChase just asked a blind man a question on the coloured balls of snooker, visual art and bioluminescence. I really hope it’s random selection.’

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
