The Chase viewers are quick to slam anyone who doesn't take at least a £6,000 offering to The Chaser after their high-pressure cash builder round.
And one contestant tonight left fans very disappointed after they spent half of the episode having high hopes for him.
An older gentleman called Peter took on Shaun Wallace this evening but sadly, it didn't go too well for him.
The contestant, who fans said was Michael Caine's "twin," sadly got a number of questions wrong asked by host Bradley Walsh during the first round.
Starring in films such as The Dark Knight, Inception and The Italian Job, Mr Caine is one of the UK's most beloved national treasures – with distinctive features.
Reminding viewers of the actor, Peter only took £3,000 to The Chaser.
Feeling generous, Shaun offered him a high offer of £40,000 and a low of £300.
But Peter decided to stick with his £3,000 and have a safer chance of escaping the quiz master.
However, before he took on Shaun, fans rushed to social media to share their disappointment after he only got three questions right.
One tweeted: "If Peter was better than that…..he would have answered more questions! #thechase."
"You’re disappointing us, Michael Caine – I mean, Peter! #TheChase," tweeted another.
"Wouldn’t it funny if he got a Michael Caine question #thechase," said another.
Peter managed to beat Shaun despite his poor start and went on to be in the final with one other contestant called Christine.
During the final joint round, the pair managed to get 14 questions right and managed to win £9,000.
Meaning they will be splitting it £4,500 each.
The Chase airs on weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
