After an uncharacteristically successful hometown date, it seemed Hannah Brown and Luke Parker’s relationship was back on track. In Greece, the two enjoyed the day portion of their date exploring the area via helicopter. But during dinner, Parker brought up the topic of sex.
The scene that’s been teased for weeks was finally aired and it was even worse than we imagined.
Parker began the conversation by telling Brown “I want it the way I want it,” when referring to their relationship.
“I just want to make sure that you’re not going to be sexually intimate with the other relationships here,” he told her.
Brown slowly began to put together the boundaries Parker was setting for her and told him he was making her angry. She asked him to leave. He wouldn’t get up. He asked her if he could pray for her. She said ‘no.’ Eventually, hesitantly, he got into a van that drove him away, Brown flipping him off as he left.
Luke P. says he didn’t mean to shame Hannah
Once the episode aired, Parker posted a lengthy Instagram caption about how he never meant to judge Brown.
“It hurt my heart that @alabamahannah felt I was shaming her.
In our conversation my heart was never to judge or condemn Hannah. I was simply making a decision for myself on what I expected in our relationship, our conversations and our beliefs led me to believe we were on the same page about sex. For me it was never about getting a rose, it was always about finding a wife who would choose me everyday just as I would choose her everyday.
As for my time on the show I made mistakes and no I’m not perfect (crazy right) I didn’t totally behave as the man I want to be and I did not represent Christ the way I thought I was prepared to and that has broken me,” he wrote.
But he also got into a Twitter fight with her about who the bigger sinner is.
Fans are so glad Hannah finally sent Luke P. home
Parker hasn’t been the most popular contestant among fans this season. From early on, Bachelor Nation was hoping he’d be sent home sooner rather than later. No one ever imagined he’d make it all the way to fantasy suites.
But when Brown finally saw how problematic Parker was acting, it was incredibly satisfying for so many fans.
“Bam, she is done. Exit stage left, Luke,” tweeted another fan.
