The Apprentice fans crack up over ‘porno’ advert as Ryan-Mark ‘flashes privates’

The Apprentice contestants were challenged to create an advertisement promoting the Finnish summertime during tonight's show.

But BBC One viewers got to see more of contestant Ryan-Mark Parsons than they expected, as he helped film his team's advert.

Led by Marianne Rawlins, the group decided to create a campaign inspired by Helsinki Pride, showing off the LGBTQ scene in Scandinavia.

Jemima Artigas was chosen as the director of their advert, and set about creating a romantic scene in an outdoor hot tub.

Ryan-Mark was cast as the lead, while another actor was roped in to play his partner in the 30-second clip.

Posing in a hot tub with a glass of wine, Ryan-Mark's robe slipped open at the tops of his thighs as the camera zoomed in.

After laying eyes on the advert, viewers took to Twitter to complain about the production quality and compared the advertisement to a porno.

One said: "I've seen soft core bad porn start off like this. And be better acted."

A second added: "Cheers Ryan-Mark. Had to turn down the telly so my parents didn't think I was watching porn."

While a third remarked: "I've seen more of Ryan-Mark than I was expecting tonight. Don't know where to look!"

Even Lord Sugar picked up on the over-exposure, once they played their advertisement in the board room.

Squinting at the screen, he joked: "This film was more about saving Ryan's private parts as opposed to Saving Private Ryan."

Proving he can take a joke, Ryan-Mark smiled and responded: "I didn’t want any of that exposed in the video…"

Unfortunately for the team, Lord Sugar decided they had lost the challenge and brought all five contestants back into the board room for grilling.

Though it looked as though Ryan-Mark's time on the show had come to an end, he was thankfully saved for another week.

Instead, contestant Jemelin got the axe, with Lord Sugar saying: "Your part in this task was really the main failure of it. You're fired."

Relieved, Ryan-Mark promised: "If I'm still here next week, I can assure you that I will fight for the Project Manager role."

Lord Sugar quipped back: "Last chance hotel, my friend."

The Apprentice airs on weekdays at 9pm on BBC One.
