STRICTLY host Claudia Winkleman was shut down by KSI after asking him to star in the next series.
The singer, 28, admitted he won't ever sign up to the BBC dance show because of the show "curse".
Appearing on The One Show tonight, Claudia tried to convince him to be a contestant alongside his soaring singing career.
But he revealed his girlfriend has BANNED him from going on Strictly.
"Well my girlfriend just wouldn't let me, anyway," KSI told Claudia.
"The Strictly Come Dancing curse.."She's afraid I'd…"
He then cut off mid-sentence, but he was referring to the "curse" – a phenomenon that hits celebrities and their dance partners during their time on Strictly.
"I'm not saying anything," said Claudia, with a smile.
"It's made up, it's made up. They just dance and that's it."
Accepting that KSI wouldn't be on the next series, he said: "That's a shame, but maybe one day."
Strictly became regarded as "cursed" after a series of very public break-ups from show participants – and ever since, more and more fan favourites have succumbed.
Due to the harsh schedules, sexy dance moves and close quarters with their partners, their off-screen romances sometimes suffer as a result.
Over the course of 18 series of the BBC favourite, nearly a dozen couples have split up thanks to their time on the show.
Referring to professional dancers Anton Du Beke and Janette Manrara’s new Strictly roles, Claudia told presenters Alex Jones and Ronan Keating: "I think Anton is going to be …can I use a massive word? …tremendous. And, we’ll really miss Bruno but I loved it when Anton stood in.
"There is nothing he doesn’t know but he is also warm, he is kind, he will be on their side. I think he is a brilliant addition.
And commenting on the news that Janette is going to be fronting It Takes Two, Claudia added: "My little ‘pocket rocket’ ! I mean, she’s not mine. She’s her own woman.
"I will really, really miss her but she is going to do such a fantastic job on It Takes Two. I’m just delighted for her. I watch that show every night."
