Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas throws major shade at fellow judges

Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas threw some major shade at her fellow judges before giving out a perfect score to Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice.

The Head Judge read out her mate’s quotes from his judging of Faye’s dance back when they performed it some weeks ago, as one of the judges commented that the pair should "ignore Shirley" for her feedback.

But luckily the squabbling between the judges didn’t matter as all the judges gave the pair a perfect score of 40 for their performance.

As she gave her verdict on the dance, she said: "I just want to quote something from Week Two.

"’Don’t listen to Shirley about techniques so early in the competition. It will come listen, I disagree with her.’

"I felt you listened to me and you worked on the technique, and you can not be a winner in anything whether it’s singing, drama, acting, dancing, unless you have technical underneath your toe and I thought you were amazing."

Bruno Tonioli looked pretty concerned at her outburst, saying: "Oh yes, Shirley, you’re right.

"I really agree with you, it’s exactly as I would have said it."

But she wasn’t the only one having a jibe at her mates, as Bruno asked: "Is this stretch enough for you, Craig?"

After Craig Revel Horwood spoke out about Joe Sugg’s ‘shaping’ from his Paso Doble, Bruno showed him who’s boss by giving it his best stretch.

The groups have clearly disagreed throughout the series, but Ashley Roberts has been one of the few dancers to gain high marks consistently, with her receiving a top 40 for all of her dances in the final.

Sadly, this could not be said for Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley, who got a measly eight from Craig for their showdance.
