Will there be another series of Star Trek Discovery?
Star Trek Discovery season three was confirmed by CBS and Netflix in February, just a few weeks after season two began airing.
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Michelle Paradise will join creator Alex Kurtzman as co-showrunner for Star Trek Discovery season three.
Kurtzman told them: “Her grasp of character and story detail, her drive and her focus have already become essential in ensuring the Trek legacy, and her fresh perspective always keeps us looking forward.

WHAT TIME DOES STAR TREK DISCOVERY AIR?
When will Star Trek Discovery season 3 be out?
The release date for Star Trek Discovery season three has not been announced yet by CBS or Netflix.
Discovery season one aired in September 2017, while season two started in January 2019.
As such, we might expect a new series of Discovery in mid-to-late 2020.
However, CBS has four new Star Trek series coming out in the next year with their Jean-Luc Picard (played by Patrick Stewart) series, an animated comedy called Lower Decks, a series following Phillippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) and a Nickelodeon animated series, so these could delay the release of Star Trek Discovery season three.

However, some actors who will star in Discovery season three if they make it out of the finale include Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Saru (Doug Jones) and Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp).
