Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) day went from bad to worse in Coronation Street tonight.
The solicitor approached his car to find the window had been smashed in the opening scenes, which left him furious.
With help from Imran (Charlie De Melo), Adam covered the window screen, struggling to work out who was responsible.
While Tracy (Kate Ford) accused random teenagers, a niggling thought saw Adam confront Jeremy Bremner – a previous client who’s case ended badly.
Jeremy admitted to keying Adam’s car, but said he wasn’t responsible for smashing the window.
Meanwhile, in the factory, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) was talking to Carla (Alison King) and Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) about Adam’s situation.
Unbeknownst to them, firearms officers had burst into the solicitor’s office.
Imran and Adam discovered that the officers were searching the building for a gun.
Completely horrified, Imran and Sarah blamed Adam for the saga, convinced winding Jeremy up had made the situation even worse.
Back at home, Adam reassured Sarah that she doesn’t need to fear for her safety, as things will quieten down soon.
However, as Sarah left, Adam received a silent phone call.
Adam made the assumption it was Jeremy – but is he correct?
As Lydia is aware of what Adam is going through, could she use this to her advantage?
Will she pretend to be Jeremy to make Adam’s life a living hell?
