Spoilers: Dotty reveals Ian's secret to Sharon in huge EastEnders twist?

Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) resolved to do whatever is necessary in EastEnders in order to make Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) sweat, as she left him fearing that she might just follow through with her threat and tell Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that he was instrumental in causing Dennis Rickman’s (Bleu Landau) demise.

Ian attempted to get the upper hand during last night’s instalment, as he stole the keys to The Arches, acquired the device featuring Dennis’ distressing voicemail and subsequently destroyed the evidence, but he underestimated just how cunning Dotty really is.

Dotty responded by informing him that The Arches has CCTV cameras — a revelation which left him incredibly worried. However, during tonight’s instalment, he did some digging, and — after a conversation with Ben (Max Bowden) — he discovered that said CCTV cameras don’t exist.

With Dotty having no evidence to prove her claims, she was about to give up, but a conversation with Vinny (Shiv Jalota) reminded her that she doesn’t need evidence in order to get what she wants, she just needs Ian to think that she’s going to spill the beans — and in order to do that, she needs to be in his company as often as possible.

As tonight’s instalment came to an end, Dotty revealed that she plans on telling Sharon that he was responsible for Dennis’ demise, but not yet, and — in the meantime — he’d better get used to seeing her around.

Ian has no idea if and when Dotty plans to drop the bombshell, but he’s officially scared.

The question is: will Dotty follow through and reveal all?

Will Sharon discover her best pal’s part in her son’s demise via Dotty?

EastEnders continues Monday 13 April at 7:30pm on BBC One.
