The TV star called the singer's new inking "irresponsible" on Good Morning Britain earlier today.
Last month, the TV star, 53, criticised the band for copying the Dixie Chicks after they posed naked with insults from trolls written on their naked bodies to promote their new single Strip – leading Jesy to call him a "silly t***".
Earlier today – speaking about the 27-year-old singer – Piers sarcastically said: "This great role model to millions of women, who really wants to empower them, has had a new tattoo put on herself."
As an image from the pop star's Instagram of the side of her torso flashed up on screen showing a small gun inking, the presenter continued: "It's a gun."
Susanna Reid suggested: "It's so she can continue shooting insults at you."
Piers added: "As gun crime in this country begins to tick up."
Susanna conceded: "Guns are metaphors."
He replied: "They're not metaphors. They're things that kill people."
The star then lashed out at his co-host for defending Jesy as he added the pop star was "irresponsible".
It comes as Piers last week hit out at Ariana Grande fans for trolling him after he clashed with the singer's mum, Little Mix and Ellen DeGeneres.
The TV star revealed on Good Morning Britain he had been targeted by the pop star's fans – before continuing his feud by saying Little Mix weren't "big enough" to make it on to his show Piers Morgan's Life Stories.
In November, the outspoken presenter became embroiled in an online spat with the women after he claimed Little Mix had copied the Dixie Chicks' naked Entertainment Weekly magazine to promote their single Strip.
Last week, Susanna said: "We did a poll last week asking whether Piers is always right."
Her co-host replied: "It got hijacked by anti-Piers-ists."
He added: "All the Ariana Grande fans got hold of it."
Entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold interjected: "The great thing is Perrie Edwards of Little Mix fame is back on board."
Susanna said: "Blimey, you had a go at Little Mix and the Little Mixers came at you in their droves."
Piers added: "Well one of them called me a silly [dweep] and Ariana Grande's mum piped up on Twitter whacking me, then Ariana Grande piles in to me, then Ellen DeGeneres piles in to me. They're all piling in to me."
They then showed a clip of an interview with Perrie, 25, on Capital Radio, where she admitted: "I love watching Piers Morgan because he makes people cry and he gets the dirt from them."
Piers then made a final dig at Little Mix, saying: "They won't be on Life Stories I'm afraid because they're not big enough."
