Piers Morgan has hit back at wife Celia Walden’s trolling, after she shared a steamy snap of ‘Mr Suds’ washing her car.
And the Good Morning Britain presenter is not a happy bunny.
Addressing her upload on today’s instalment, the 54-year-old fumed: ‘I don’t know Mr Suds but I’ll be finding out who Mr Suds is as a matter of urgency,’ to which Richard Arnold joked: ‘You’re not the only one!’
‘There [is], I’m told, Mrs Suds who will be washing my Aston Martin next week and I’ll be posting those pictures,’ he continued.
‘When I do it, it won’t be, “Oh isn’t that funny,” it’ll be, “Oh, you disgusting monster. You must be jailed, repulsive exploitation of female flesh.”
‘When Mr Suds rocks up to wash my wife’s car, happy days ladies! Look at you all drooling away. And there, right there, is the double standard.
‘Why are you not feeling my pain, understanding this is actually harassing me, triggering my anxiety?
‘Mr Suds is actually triggering my anxiety, who would not have my anxiety triggered by that?’
That wasn’t the end of Piers’ rant, as he later decided to bring the whole thing back up, telling Susanna Reid: ‘It’s the rank disloyalty of the people commenting on it.’
When his co-host asked whether he was jealous, he added: ‘Never get mad, get even.’
It turns out Celia really decided to stick the boot in as she noted that the upload in question actually racked up more likes than a tribute she posted for their anniversary.
Which is a little awkward…
It all kicked off when she shared a very spicy snap of Mr Suds washing her car at the home she shares with the journalist – who she married back in 2010.
Alongside the upload, of a man wearing nothing but a pair of very, very small red bathers, she wrote: ‘When the husband’s away Mr Suds comes to play.’
Over to you, Piers…
Good Morning Britain continues on weekdays, at 6am, on ITV.
