Mark Wright gives fans a rare look inside his home with Michelle Keegan as he shows off festive living room

MARK Wright gave fans a rare glimpse of his glittering festive living room as he got snug ahead of Christmas.

The former TOWIE star, who recently sparked his career dream by signing for Crawley Town FC, is taking a much-needed break ahead of his intense football training.

Mark, 33, bunkered down for a movie night in the Essex home he shares with wife Michelle Keegan, and captured their stunning lounge adorned with Christmas trinkets on his Instagram page.

This included their huge real fir tree studded with gold baubles, lights and beading, nestled in the corner of the room.

A 'Merry Christmas' message in neon white lighting was reflected on the cream wall while a fir tree streamer hung from a shelf.

Keeping with the nature theme, a blooming poinsettia plant was seen flourishing in a pot while the entirety of the living room table was decked out in a winter-time theme.

A cream candle sat pride of place inside a Christmas wreath while candy canes and gingerbread man decorations added further fun festive touches.

Mark appeared to be taking the snap from a cosy position on the sofa, where he was watching a rather appropriate Christmas movie to reflect his glistening grotto-style surroundings.

The married couple previously revealed their winter wonderland decorations outside of their home – after putting up their decorations six weeks early.

Mark and Michelle went for a candy cane theme this year, adorning the tree with giant red and white baubles, lollypops, peppermint candy canes, and nutcrackers.

Going one step further, the couple also decided to decorate their front door and porch – turning their home into a festive wonderland.

A huge garland arch surrounds the door, which has a stunning wreath as decoration.

There are two giant nutcrackers standing either side of the porch, with glittering presents nestled beneath them.

Back inside, there are also signs for Santa and twinkling fairylights, with green garlands adorning the bannister beside the tree.

The most stand-out piece is definitely the huge Christmas tree in the famous couple's hallway, with Mark initially having to send an even bigger one away after deciding that it was simply too tall.

The tree is positioned next to their staircase, and thankfully the second attempt was a lot more suitable.

Yet it hasn't been the happiest of festive periods for the broadcaster after his £65k Range Rover was stolen from the drive – while the couple were completely unaware inside.

Thankfully the motor was found a 20-minute drive away and returned to the owner.
