Love Island’s Dr Alex exposes I’m A Celebrity Kiosk Cledwyn’s question blunder

Love Island star Dr Alex George has taken to social media to point out a major blunder during Tuesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity 2020.

The hunky doctor, who has previously admitted to planning his day around the ITV reality show, called out Kiosk Cledwyn who got a quiz answer wrong.

In the Castle Coin Challenge, Kiosk Cledwyn telephoned the camp and asked broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire what percentage of Brits talk about the weather at least once a day.

The two possible answers to the question were either 26% or 44%.

Campmates all guessed 44% straight away but Kiosk Cledwyn slammed down his shutters in front of Giovanna Fletcher and Hollie Arnold as they got it wrong.

However, Dr Alex did not believe the answer, tweeting "that's not true!! It’s a 100% of Brits!" and then went on to do some research himself.

The reality star uncovered research which had found 94% of British respondents admit to having talked about the weather in the past six hours, while 38% say they have in the past 60 minutes.

Dr Alex then went back to Twitter, and demanded: "Give them the damn Welsh cakes!!!"

The gruelling ITV series series has seen a raft of changes to accommodate the stars in their new location, including updating the grumpy man at the kiosk.

Russell Watson and Ruthie Henshall joined the camp during Wednesday's edition of I'm A Celeb.

Before they got the chance to get to know their famous friends, the singing duo had to take on trial named Stage Fright.

Russell and Ruthie managed to score 11 our of 12 stars and the campmates were delighted with the result.

Dr Alex, who is from Wales, took part in the fourth series of Love Island back in 2018.

The A&E worker failed to find his soul mate on the ITV2 dating show but has gone on to become one of the standout stars of the show.

He has been working in a hospital during the coronavirus pandemic and gives medical advice on ITV daytime shows such as Lorraine.
