Dani Dyer opened up about her split from Jack Fincham on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, revealing they’ll continue being mates.
The Love Island star, who are the final couple to break-up from the villa earlier this week, told Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy that going through the separation in the spotlight has been tough though.
‘We broke up earlier this week. It’s just one of those things isn’t it?’ she began.
‘I’m okay think. I think I’m as well as it could be. We’ll always remain friends and stuff.’
Talking about being a couple in the public eye, Dani admitted: ‘I think it is really tough. You go from one thing to another.
‘You’re in such a bubble when everything’s so perfect and you come out and you’re like “this is it now.”‘
‘I think when you first come out of Love Island you get so much love and everyone loves you and the papers, they’re great and then all of a sudden it’s like they turn on you a little bit and then you’ve got to deal with that.
‘I get these people attacking me, and I’m like “leave me alone, you don’t understand.”‘
Discussing the trolls, Dani confessed: ‘It’s horrible. It’s been good this week, I’ve had a lot of love. When you get the hate, it’s really, really tough. It brings you down.’
Sunday Brunch airs Sundays at 9.30am on Channel 4.
