Love Island fans have been treated to the most dramatic episode of the winter series yet, as the recoupling took place on Thursday night following Casa Amor.
Casey O'Gorman wasted no time in getting to know some new girls in the villa, despite having a connection with Claudia Fogarty, and fans of the show were left wondering what he would do when it came to recoupling time.
As show host Maya Jama addressed the boys, she asked Casey whether he wanted to "stick or twist" with Claudia.
Although he had kissed both Sanam and Cynthia during his time away, Casey opted to "stick" with Claudia on Thursday night.
He explained that his feelings still lay with Claudia, as the suspense rose as to whether Claudia had chosen to remain with him.
As it turned out, Claudia strode out of the door on her own, meaning that she had decided to remain with Casey, and as the pair reunited, Claudia told him that she'd "missed him".
As Claudia and Casey sat down together, Casey said: "I wanted to come into the Casa experience and get to know the girls, and I feel like I did that. But no one is as special as my girl Claudia."
His decision left Cynthia in tears, as the other bombshells consoled her, before a heated set of words were exchanged between the girls.
As Maya asked: "Is anyone holding their tongue at the moment?," Cynthia laughed knowingly as she said: "A little bit."
She then went in as she said to Casey: "I was snogging you on the terrace so, you know.
"We were straddling, we were kissing, so…."
She continued: "I know you've been honest, and you said that someone will get hurt. I have got hurt."
Claudia then looked accusingly at Casey, who half-smiled and shook his head at her.
Cynthia then started crying, as the other bombshells wiped her tears.
Witnessing this, Claudia said to Casey: "I didn't even kiss anyone!"
Layla then spotted both Claudia and Casey laughing as she interjected with: "Why are you laughing? Why are they laughing?" as Cynthia then said sarcastically: "It's obviously funny, isn't it?"
Claudia then clapped back: "What's funny? I'm literally laughing at something else. Don't start, because I'm laughing at something else."
Layla then said: "I'm not starting," before Claudia said: "I'm not laughing at you, so just chill out."
