Love Island's George Fensom has become the first islander to be sent packing from series 10.

The hit ITV2 dating show returned with a bang on Monday (June 5) and brought a new selection of sexy singletons to Mallorca on the hunt for love.

But unfortunately for the 24-year-old, he was left standing alone after the first recoupling of the series was left in the girls' hands.

It came down to new bombshell Whitney who was left to choose between George and Mehdi.

As the 25-year-old revealed she wanted to couple up with Mehdi, the islanders quickly gathered around George as he insisted: "Bring it in guys".

Heading into the bedroom to pack his case with the boys, George said: "A s**t decision was gonna have to be made regardless. One of us was gonna go anyway.

"It was one of those situations where it was unfortunately me. On a serious note, I will actually never forget any of you."

Fans raced to social media to react to the brutal dumping, with many clearly ecstatic with the decision.

"Happy to see George leave, should have never been on the show anyway #LoveIsland," wrote one person.

A second added: "George going home ??? Love to see it #LoveIsland."

"Goodbye George .. you won't be missed #LoveIsland," shared another viewer.

While a fourth fan echoed: "Don’t let the door hit you on your way out George #LoveIsland."

George, a business executive from Bedford, hit headlines before entering the villa after a resurfaced video went viral branding him a "narcissist" and a "cheat".

The video, originally posted in December 2022, was shared by his ex-girlfriend Ebony Keeley who also claimed George was "controlling and would "beg her for money" during their relationship.

Hitting back, George exclusively told Daily Star and other press that the claims were "upsetting" and "untrue".

The reality star's family also spoke out on his behalf, saying the claims being made against him were "false and unjustified" before insisting Ebony's recount of their relationship wasn't the full story.
