LOVE Island bosses have auditioned controversial reality star and stripper Lotan Carter for this year’s show.
Producers met with Lotan, who was kicked off Big Brother in 2017 for aggressive behaviour, last week with a view to casting him on the show.
An insider tells The Sun Online: “Lotan’s really up for it and he’s been training so he looks his best on camera.
“Producers seemed really interested but he’s worried his reality show past might work against him.
“He’s got some really good stories about celebs, though, and would make great TV.
“And he’s looking for love. He wants to find The One and hopes that he can find someone to settle down with through the show.”
A TV insider confirmed that Lotan had met show bosses but added that no shortlist had been made for the show yet.
Lotan recently appeared on Britain's Got Talent alongside Channing Tatum as he launched the UK version of Magic Mike Live, and reportedly insured his penis for £12m after a colleague suffered "an incident" with an over-enthusiastic fan while stripping – and Lotan didn’t want to risk his most valuable asset.
Lotan’s uncle is reality star Louis Spence and he stripped at one of Katie Price’s birthday parties.
He performed with The Dreamboys for seven years, but was sacked after he was booted out of Big Brother in 2017.
After he kicked off a huge row during a boozy night in the house, Big Brother called him into the diary room and told him: "Last night you threw your drink angrily at Isabelle, Chanelle and Hannah and then threw the empty bottle across the room.
“Later in the bedroom and then in the Diary Room, you used threatening language about a fellow housemate.”
"Lotan, Big Brother considers your behaviour to be completely unacceptable and has no option but to remove you form the house.”
He later told The Sun that he was in pain from a stomach ulcer which later burst.
