Leigh-Anne Pinnock shares first look at her acting debut Boxing Day after Jesy Nelson quit Little Mix

LITTLE Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has given fans a sneak peek at her upcoming acting debut in the festive movie Boxing Day.

Leigh-Anne's first look comes days after her band mate and close friend Jesy Nelson announced she has quit Little Mix.

In the brief clip, the 29-year-old pop star can be seen on the screen of a movie camera as she acts out her lines on set.

As the person recording the Instagram footage zooms out, fans spot Leigh-Anne standing among beautiful trees decorated with twinkling fairy lights.

She is wearing a cosy winter coat and members of the crew are milling around nearby.

Leigh-Anne announced that she had bagged a part in the British rom com – which is yet to be given a release date – last month.

The flick is directed by I May Destroy You's Aml Ameen and also stars Aja Naomi King, best known for her role in How to Get Away with Murder, and BAFTA-winner, Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

Proud as punch, the star shared a snap of a movie clapper board emblazoned with the words "BOXING DAY, SCENE 15, SLATE 1".

Captioning the Instagram picture, she simply told her followers: "No words!"

Leigh-Anne's Little Mix band mate Perrie Edwards, 27, replied: "Superstar. Movie star. My inspiration! Ily."

Meanwhile, fans of the pop group were left devastated this week after Jesy Nelson's announcement that she was quitting.

The 29-year-old star confirmed she was leaving the band on Monday after taking "extended time off" from the group last month.

Jesy later broke her social media silence to show her gratitude to her loyal fanbase.

Posting on her Instagram Stories days later, she penned: "I just want to say thank you so much to everyone of you that has shown me so much love and support over the past few days.

"Some of your messages have made me feel so emotional and I
appreciate it so much."

Jesy ended the note with, "Love you all", alongside a heart emoji.
