Law and Order: Organized Crime – Promo clip for new episode 'Tag GEN'
In the latest episode of NBC’s hit drama Law and Order: Organized Crime viewers saw a new side of Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni) during an undercover mission. Among the amazed viewers, actress Danielle Moné Truitt also took to social media to mock her co-star.
In Thursday’s episode titled Tag: GEN, the skilled team of detectives were forced to go undercover after Sergeant Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) revealed: “There is a ring targeting gay men in the city.”
As Bell identies as a lesbian, this case was a personal one for her as she told Stabler: “It’s 20 cases targeting my people.”
Although she initially couldn’t prove it was an organized crime, Bell was determined to put a stop to the crimes which were being ignored by the NYPD and affecting her community.
Stabler assured her: “Whatever you need, I’m here,” as they went undercover in a gay club.
In an effort to successfully blend in, the usually no-nonsense Stabler sported a fitted black t-shirt and showed off some moves to fit in with the club-goers.
Bell star Danielle Moné Truitt was taken aback by seeing the usually stern character let loose and show off some dance moves.
The actress took to Twitter to mock her co-star and tweeted: “I can’t stop laughing at you @Chris_Meloni Zaddy you poopin’ in the Circuit Party!”(sic)
She was among many fans who were laughing at the unexpected dance moves and went on social media to share their feelings.
An amazed @patsdumas wrote: “Now THIS is good when you see Stabler dancing on the floor… OMG. Perfect.”
@twicethecrumbs tweeted: “DANCING STABLER!!! #LawAndOrderOC.”
A third viewer @CatchUpWithCoCo added: “Stabler dancing is sending me.”
While @lisboademivida remarked: “I’M SICK FROM LAUGHING HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA PLEASE.”

During the investigation, Detective Eric Geary (Adrian Anchondo) put himself on the line.
When he and Stabler went undercover at the nightclub, they waited as Stabler was eventually approached by their suspect, Alex Petrillo (Max Sheldon).
Eric then watched as Alex and his friends drugged Stabler’s drink and prepared to take advantage of the cop, but Eric stepped in and punched Alex.
As Eric had been previously drugged he was still angry and didn’t follow the rule book, however, this was the proof they needed and it lead to Alex’s arrest.
He admitted to targeting gay people with the intention of assaulting and robbing them.
Alex claimed he did so to help his father, Robert Petrillo (Marc Kudisch) who was in serious debt with vicious kingpin Frank Moretti (Ray Abruzzo).
The police were able to arrest Moretti, while Alex was tried for murder and his father was also in legal trouble for using the clubs to launder money.
Law and Order: Organized Crime season three continues Thursdays on NBC in the USA.
