Kaleb Cooper helped Jeremy Clarkson throughout his journey of re-establishing his farm. The seasoned farmer did most of the heavy lifting when it came to bringing the farm back to its former glory. But how old is Kaleb Cooper on Clarkson’s Farm?
How old is Kaleb Cooper from Clarkson’s Farm?
During Clarkson’s Farm, presenter Jeremy Clarkson called on a number of professionals as he took over the running of his 1,000-acre farm.
One of the first people he turns to is Kaleb Cooper, a farmhand that helped the previous manager of Diddly Squat Farm – the name Clarkson chose for his land.
Kaleb worked on the land in Chipping Norton for three years and also has his own contracting business, alongside working on his own farm.
On top of this, he also contracts out his digger services, helping to lay pipes.
Finally, Kaleb takes care of sheep, five pigs and around 120 chickens, selling the eggs locally.
With all this experience, it came as a massive shock to Clarkson when Kaleb revealed his age during the interview to return to Diddly Squat Farm.
After explaining all the work he does, Clarkson asks Kaleb: “How old are you?” to which Kalen replies “I’m 21”.
He was 21 at the time of filming but Clarkson said he has since celebrated his 22nd birthday. Kaleb brings with him years of extensive farming experience, far beyond anything Clarkson was expecting.
After realising Kaleb’s age, Clarkson says: “What? You’re making me look pathetic! I’m 59, I haven’t done any of that.”
During the season Kaleb helped to drive the tractors, build fences, feed the chickens, dig the land, and more.
The only thing Kaleb didn’t assist with is the sheep, which he warned Clarkson not to invest in.
The sheep proved to be more trouble than they were worth, often escaping the farm or getting into accidents, proving Kaleb’s point.
This didn’t matter to Clarkson, however, when after all was said and done he said it was “worth it” and that he “grew fond of them”.
During an interview on This Morning, Kaleb talked about his time on the series and admitted that Clarkson is “very difficult to work with.”
The star said: “He doesn’t listen to me, but the good thing is he has a genuine interest in farming which makes it easier, I must admit.
“But he doesn’t listen, that why you probably see me shout at him and I do get genuinely angry when he does make a mistake.”
Despite this, the pair could be back at it again soon, with The Sun recently publishing: “Jeremy is Amazon’s golden boy and a new series is already in the pipeline.
“It means Jeremy’s fellow farmers Kaleb, ‘Cheerful’ Charlie and Gerald will all be in front of cameras on the farm again.”
There has been no confirmation from Amazon Prime over a second season, with neither Clarkson nor Kaleb confirming season two either.
A second season does seem likely, however, as Clarkson said he would “do it in a heartbeat,” while speaking to LadBible.
The show rushed to the number one spot on Amazon Prime following its release, but no specific ratings have been confirmed.
News of a second season is likely to be revealed in the coming weeks and months with Kaleb Cooper more than likely to make another appearance.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video
