Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall isn’t taking any nonsense from Noel Gallagher, hitting back at the Oasis star in a brutal way.
She was left unimpressed with the singer, who spoke out against the girl band, trashing them after they won a Brit Award.
Taking aim at Noel on an upcoming episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Jade said: ‘Noel did [slag us off]. Something about that we were undeserving of the Brit Award because we’re women and don’t – well we do write music – but he thinks we don’t write music.
‘Yeah, shame really. Because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country, but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family!’
Jade, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards owned the awards ceremony when they became the first all-girl group to take home the best group award.
‘I’m half the problem, whereas I can’t be having him thinking I’m the full problem. He needs to take on some of the problem. The minute he does that we’ll move on.’
Never Mind The Buzzcocks returns September 21 at 9pm on Sky Max and NOW
