Inside Tina O'Brien's cosy Manchester home after her VERY naughty dog destroys the Christmas tree

The soap star certainly has an eye from interior design as her Manchester home is immaculately decorated throughout – at least until she discovered her dog had knocked over the family Christmas tree yesterday.

The actress – who plays Sarah Platt in the ITV favourite – left fans in stitches after sharing snaps of her living room carpet littered with pine needles after her pooch accidentally sent the tress flying across the room.

She captioned the playful snap: "'It wasn't me I swear.' Merry Christmas."

But the beauty has revealed her three-storey pad is usually up to show-home standards with tasteful decor and lots of trendy knick-knacks.

Tina shares her home with fiance Adam Crofts, their son Beau and daughter Scarlett, who she co-parents with ex Ryan Thomas.

The lounge is particularly cosy with large grey sofas and a chic pouffe, atop of which are a number of boho touches including a gold Buddha statue, plants and candles.

Stunning bouquets of flowers are also dotted throughout the property.

Tina has livened up one of the hallways with a large antique silver mirror – which she often uses to snap pictures of her outfits.

Tina has gone for a dark colour palette in her bedroom with grey walls and black furnishings.

The star has gone for a contemporary vibe in the kitchen with white units and walls giving the space a bright and airy feel.

The family can cook up a storm on a state-of-the-art integrated hob, while floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views of the garden.

And the garden is certainly a sight to behold with a cushioned outdoor seating area and lots of exotic plants.
