Harry Redknapp reveals how much weight he’s lost after four days without eating

Harry Redknapp has spoke of his staggering I’m A Celebrity weight loss, revealing he went four days without eating.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain hours after his incredible win, 71-year-old Harry described his time in camp as a gruelling physical challenge.

"I’d never seen one minute of the show. I thought there was a caravan behind the camp where you all sit round the logs make out you’re hungry they go ‘OK cut’ and they give you a nice cup of tea and bacon sandwich. But I couldn’t find the caravan anywhere," he said.

After weeks of a basic rice and beans diet, Harry’s change in figure had stunned viewers.

And after leaving Crock Creek Harry finally stepped on to the scales and to discover he’s lost a stone in three weeks.

The former football manager said he even went four days without eating after refusing to touch the exotic meats won in the Bush Tucker Trials.

"I did four days without eating. I actually lost a stone – I thought I might have done a bit more. It wasn’t easy," he said.

His campmates previously told how they’d became so worried about him they would beg him to eat with James McVey even donating his own grub to Harry to help build his strength up.

Harry told Kate and Piers he was now excited to tuck into one of his beloved jam roly polys now he was out of the jungle.

Describing his former campmates as an ‘amazing bunch,’ Harry said he was stunned to be crowned the winner of the show.

"I don’t know what I’ve done apart from make an idiot of myself," he told hosts Piers Morgan and Kate Garraway.

"Everyone loves you," Piers told him, hailing him the most popular man in the country.

"I enjoyed it it was good fun – we had a great laugh," Harry added.

As well as finding the lack of food demanding, Harry said he initially struggled to bond with his campmates.

"It was tough physically, but when they were talking about music and shows and theatres I never had a clue what they were talking about.

"I started talking about Harry Kane and they’d never heard of him.

"I thought I’m going to struggle here," said Harry.

He added: "It was a completely new world for me. Some of the days were very long and hard.

"The sleeping was horrendous

"But there wasn’t one person I could say a bad word about."
