Gregg Wallace and wife Anna marked their first joint TV cooking debut on This Morning on Monday, six weeks after the birth of their first child together.
The pair opened up on parenthood in their first televised interview since welcoming baby son Sid.
Gregg confessed he was loving parenthood again, with him having two children from a previous marriage, while he is struggling with the sleepless nights that come with a newborn.
Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as they prepared for their cooking segment, the parents updated viewers on how things were going with their little bundle of joy.
Gregg told them: “Baby’s brilliant, and he’s got loads of hair… looks like his mum.”
Asked if he was hands on, Anna praised her husband while Gregg revealed just how much he was enjoying being a dad again.
He said: “I’m good. I like changing nappies, I’ve been weed on three times.
“I like feeding him, winding him, yeah it’s good. I’m finding the sleepless nights difficult, especially if you’ve got to get up for the cameras the next day it’s not easy.”
Anna admitted the six weeks since she gave birth have “gone really quickly” as she appeared on the show in a stunning dark blue floral dress.
The pair cooked together on the show, preparing an Italian feast as they promoted their new joint cookery book.
Several of the recipes have been shared by Anna’s Italian family members, with Greg sharing his love for the different dishes.
The pair also praised their loved ones for their support since the birth of baby Sid, with them stepping in to help out whenever needed.
Gregg joked: “You don’t just marry an Italian, you marry the whole family.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10:30am on ITV.
