Entertaining trio Gino D’Acampo, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix fronted the hit series Road Trip which saw them travelling around various countries to experience different cultures and cuisines.

The three chefs will be reunited on screens soon for a new programme, Gino, Gordon and Fred: Visa Espana!

The series will follow the group as they travel through Spain and sounds similar to their hit ITV project.

Their original show ended recently after Italian cook Gino explained contracts were getting “very complicated”, and the upcoming reunion is set to be a six-parter.

According to the Mirror, the show will be a one-off and was filmed before Road Trip had ended.

The publication stated the new instalment was due to air earlier this year, but will instead be shown in September.

The trio has already shared some incredible adventures, spectacular food and plenty of pranks after road-tripping across France, Italy, Scotland, Morocco, the US, Lapland and Greece – and this time they will be let loose in Spain.

The chefs will once again be battling it out for supremacy in everything from driving to cooking and jamón tasting to flamenco dancing in some of their most extreme high-adrenaline activities yet.

Bringing their very own brand of bromance and bickering in equal measure, expect more stunning locations, high-octane surprises and – above all – a determination to have the time of their lives in what looks set to be their most outrageous road trip yet.

Speaking about Road Trip’s cancelation, Fred told Express.co.uk “Nothing lasts.”

He added: “We couldn’t make it anymore. It wasn’t possible to go on tour so it had to go.

“It was a shame, it was a good show. But nothing lasts. So c’est la vie.”

On Sunday March 19 Gino took to his Instagram to post a video to his 1.6 million followers saying that he had decided to quit the popular ITV series.

In the short clip, he explained he was telling his fans directly as he didn’t want the real reason to be misconstrued in any way.
