FIRST Dates' star Fred Sirieix paid a touching touching tribute to his teenage daughter after her Tokyo Olympics success.
Team GB diver Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, 16, stunned onlookers with an incredible dive and finished in seventh place in the 10m platform final.
Overwhelmed dad Fred, 49, shared his pride in a sweet Instagram post writing: "Olympian and 7th best diver in the world.
"Well done champ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Forever my little girl who once used to live on my shoulders. Only now she flies into the air. #goAndrea 🦆❤️ #olympics #diving #platform #10m #teamgb @andreassirieix04"
His followers were quick to congratulate Andrea, with one writing: "Massive congratulations Andrea, she’s got one amazing supportive dad, there will be a medal coming for her soon!"
Another said: "So incredible! Well done Andrea that is amazing xx"
It comes after Andrea broke down in tears as she talked to her famous dad Fred via a video link at the games.
Fred was unable to attend the Tokyo games as spectators are not allowed in the stadiums.
The celeb shares daughter Andrea and son Lucien, 12, with ex-partner Alessandra Spendolini, who he split from in 2018 after 12 years together.
Andrea missed out on a medal in Tokyo, with China's Quan Hongchan taking gold, Chen Yuxi of China taking silver, and Australia's Melissa Wu taking bronze.
Following her appearance, Fred tweeted: "The important thing in life is not the triumph but the fight; the essential thing is not to have won, but to have fought well.” – Pierre de Coubertin'.
Andrea also said: "I am so happy. I was speaking to my family because there is an Athlete Moment screen and I started crying. I am very, very proud of where I came.
"I was extremely nervous before the prelims so I thought my nerves would get the better of me and I wouldn’t make it to the semi. Then after the semi I got into the final and that was exactly what I wanted to do. That was my plan. I’ve definitely exceeded my expectations."
