Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for lover Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) as she agrees to turn informant on evil Nish (Navin Chowdhry) in EastEnders.
Eve is well and truly, head over heels in love with girlfriend Suki, but there’s a pretty big husband-sized obstacle standing between them and a happy ever after.
With Nish having served a 20-year prison stretch for murdering someone he thought Suki was seeing, Eve knows how risky their relationship is, but this hasn’t stopped her developing true feelings.
In recent scenes, Eve realised just how serious they were about each other, and made a big decision to get Nish out of the picture.
During a business meeting, things turned sour as Vinny (Shiv Jalota) and Suki undermined Nish in order to secure a deal with a dodgy client.
Furious that they had crossed him, Nish began berating Suki, before turning his vitriol on Eve as she attempted to defend her.
Eve wasn’t going to take it lying down however, and prepared to throw his comments about how she couldn’t find someone ‘crazy enough to love her’ back in his face by revealing that she was sleeping with his wife.
Luckily, Suki put a stop to things before the secret was revealed, and Eve was forced to leave.
Later, Eve met Suki in the Minute Mart, determined to find out if what they had was real.
As Suki apologised for everything that she was putting Eve through, she finally said ‘I love you’, leaving Eve hopeful for their future.
However, there was still one thing that needed dealing with: Nish.
Heading into the Queen Vic, Eve met with local detective Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and offered him a deal to turn informant.
While Jack assumed she was talking about Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who Jack has been trying to bring down for weeks, Eve said that she would go one step further and bring him Nish Panesar’s head on a plate.
Will Jack accept the offer and help Eve to get rid of Nish for good, or will things backfire with tragic consequences?
