EMMERDALE's Kris Mochrie says he doesn't want to "jinx" his new relationship with his former co-star Max Parker.
The ex-soap star has broken his silence on his romance with his on-screen brother for the first time.
Kris – who played rapist Lee Posner – shared snaps on holiday with Max (Luke Posner) earlier this month.
He since told the Mirror: “It’s great to meet someone through work and have so many things in common and an understanding of each other’s jobs.
"We didn’t actually share any scenes together on Emmerdale but kept in touch after I left.
“I don’t want to jinx things. We are seeing how we get on. We had a great time on holiday in Dubai. Let’s see how it goes.”
The 34-year-old left Emmerdale last year when his rapist character was exposed.
Now he's working in the hospitality industry as a senior director at The Shankly Hotel – a luxury £12million property billed as "a portrait of modern Britain".
This week he features in a BBC documentary The Grand Party Hotel about his hotel in Liverpool which has drag queens checking you in and suites that sleep 24 people.
He says the hotel helped him come out as gay when he was 31.
Speaking about the show, Kris from Liverpool said: "We are delighted that the BBC and Spungold chose the Shankly Hotel for its new documentary series.
"We all have a fascination with what goes on inside hotels. This documentary will give viewers a fun sneak peek inside the world of The Shankly Hotel and how our guests like to party and celebrate in style with memorable occasions and defining moments in their lives."
Kris has worked in the hospitality business on and off since 2016 but returned to soap land for a stint in 2019 as Emmerdale's evil Lee Posner who was brutally attacked by Robert Sugden for raping his sister Victoria.
The dramatic storyline ended with Lee eventually dying from his injuries, marking Kris's exit from the soap in October last year.
