SAMSON Dingle has been blackmailing his cousin Noah, pretending to take an interest in his own daughter Esther in order to get wealthy.
But reality catches up with the Emmerdale lad when the baby suffers from a major health problem.
The troubled teen portrayed by Sam Hall has been adamant on living his life despite being a father and treated baby Esther as a nuisance.
However, he's found a way to make a huge profit by using her to trigger Noah Dingle's (Jack Downham) insecurities, unbeknownst to Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) who believes he's finally warming up to their baby.
Next week on ITV, Amelia is pleased to see Samson take more of an interest in Esther.
Unfortunately, while he's babysitting, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) notices Esther has a burning temperature.

Panicked, the pair call an ambulance to take her to hospital and Samson is praised by Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) for his fast reaction to Esther's predicament.
Secrets don't remain under wraps forever in the eponymous village and, soon enough, Samson is thrown in the doghouse.
Noah hates the praise his scheming cousin is receiving for "saving" Esther as he knows he's only spending time with the baby to get money out of him.
Later on, Samson arrives under false pretences to check on Esther – but instead, he demands more money from Noah to stay out of both Amelia and her baby's life.

Noah pays off Samson via bank transfer the following day, as he has done for several weeks using his inheritance money left to him by his aunt Zoe.
The minute he receives Noah's money, Samson revokes his desire to spend time with Esther and Amelia is devastated by his change of heart.
She begins to worry she may not be able to afford Esther's childcare but an idea springs to mind.

Amelia considers Noah paying for it with his inheritance but she's disgusted when he reacts by implying she's using him as a cash machine.
While Amelia is heartbroken, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) senses something isn't right and decides to get to the bottom of the problem.
Samson is eventually exposed and left homeless by his father Sam.
But will Esther do well after her health issues?
