EMILY Atack and John Barrowman have been forced to reign in their "naughty" behaviour when they take over This Morning tomorrow.
The I'm A Celebrity stars told bosses they wanted to kick off the show with a Buck's Fizz as they celebrate hosting together for the first time.
But the close pals admit knowing they will have to tone down their wild antics that are usually only appropriate after the watershed.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, John said: "If you want to be naughty, you can be naughty – but within the limitations.
"We're not going to do anything stupid or outrageous because we know the time slot.
"It's not after 9pm, it's in the morning, so there's restrictions that we have.
"We're not going to be rude or overtly disgustingly gross. That's saved for evening television.
"But know we're going to have a lot of fun."
John has flown over from his home in California to host This Morning with his jungle buddy Emily tomorrow.
They formed a close bond after spending three weeks eating rice and beans together and going through gruelling Bushtucker trials.
John says he hopes to take Emily under his wing as he shows her the ropes on set.
"Emily pointed out that they've never really teamed up an older gay man with a younger woman.
"I might be 52, even though I still see myself as 27, but I can give her advice and I'm sure there will be things that she does that I can listen and learn from.
"It's not going to be a competition between each other sitting on the sofa trying to get more airtime than the other.
"We have a lot of fun together and bring out the best in each other."
Then from Monday next week he will share the sofa with regular host Rochelle Humes, who stood in for Holly Willoughby when she was in Australia filming I'm A Celebrity.
He has filmed a pilot TV show with Emily since leaving the jungle, but for now isn't allowed to spill the beans on what to expect.
His full focus after his This Morning stint will be on his Fabulous Tour as he travels the UK for 12 shows to celebrate 30 years on stage and screen.
It will include performances of his favourite songs and sharing stories from his life and career in show business.
Despite vowing to keep it clean on This Morning from tomorrow, John insists he will prank pal Holly by messing around backstage while she's on holiday.
"I'm going to redecorate the dressing rooms," said John.
"In fact I'll go through Holly's dressing room and find out what she's wearing the week she gets back."
He added: "I'm so excited to start. We're not going to try to be Holly and Phil.
"We'll be John and Emily or John and Rochelle and that might introduce a new dynamic.
"Fans are really excited about it, my social media has blown up."
- ITV's This Morning with John Barrowman and Emily Atack starts at 10.30am on Friday, April 12.
