The pub landlady is trying to seduce Stuart in a bid to get her husband Mick out of jail.
Linda is hoping that by winning Stuart over, she can persuade him to make a confession to her after he framed Mick for attempted murder.
Tonight saw her step up her plan of seduction by getting him to think she wanted him and snogging him passionately.
Putting on a convincing act, she told Stuart she didn't "owe Mick anything" as she lent in for a kiss with him.
After they had smooched a smug Stuart said: "I ain't sleeping on the sofa again."
To which Linda replied: "No, you're not."
The show ended with Stuart leading her off to the bedroom, and Linda looking very worried.
This caused fans to take to Twitter to vent their disgust.
One tweeted: "Urgh, round 2? Stuart’s going all the way tonight! What are you gonna do, Linda? #EastEnders You’ll feel dirtier than ever when you’re done"
Another wrote: "I think I just threw up #eastenders things will never been the same for Mick and Linda even if he got released , Stuart has already ruined their life .."
A third wrote: "too far linda… #EastEnders"
Last night fans had a similar reaction when she was seen buying sexy lingerie and kissing Stuart after a couple of glasses of wine.
The kiss came after Linda started preparations for the Vic’s Christmas Grotto and Stuart took much glee in wearing Mick’s Santa costume.
Things got worse for the landlady – played by Kellie Bright – when Tina and Shirley Carter arrived and told her that Mick refused to see them at the prison earlier.
Linda tried her best to hide her upset but upstairs Shirley warned her to get the confession from Stuart by the end of the week otherwise they do it her way.
It prompted her to move her plan forward and she even went shopping for a sexy nightie.
The next day Stuart – Ricky Champ – suggested that Linda find a new Santa, telling her that he’s got too much respect for Mick for anything to happen between them, leaving Linda worried that her plan is falling apart.
She pleaded with Stuart to continue helping her out and manipulated him into agreeing.
It looks like the plan is still on and Mick may still be home in time for Christmas.
