EASTENDERS' Iqra Ahmed will be left furious over a confrontation with a homophobic worshipper outside a bar.
Iqra – who is played by Priya Davdra – and friend Bobby Beale are seen handing out flyers for a new prayer room when the argument happens.
Earlier in the year, the BBC One soap character called off her engagement to her fiancé Ash after forming a relationship with a woman.
Since then, she has formed a relationship with Mila Marwa – played by Ruhtxjiaïh Bèllènéa – which has been developing slowly and steadily.
While Iqra's new relationship has so far been supported, upcoming scenes show her defending her faith and her sexuality to Bobby's pal Waseem.
Waseem comes to help hand out flyers for the prayer room, but voices that he has a problem with it potentially being next to a LBGTQ-inclusive bar.
Furious, Iqra defends her faith and sexuality, right in front of Mila and the social worker the new couple are trying to impress.
They are hoping to win over the social worker in order to become Mila's younger sister Kioni's legal guardian and have full custody.
Later in the episode, Mila and Iqra are left to nervously await the verdict – hoping that the angry outburst doesn't jeopardise things.
Last month, Mila and Iqra moved in together in order to provide a better environment to care for Kioni together.
The couple briefly split after Iqra reveals that she – and not Kathy – reported Mila’s mother to the police for female genital mutilation.
Mila confirmed she was taking steps to become Kioni’s guardian as Iqra chose to stay to help Mila rather than seeing Habiba and her baby.
Iqra made the huge decision after Mila revealed her mother had put her through the horrific ordeal of female genital mutilation as a child.
Mila had been left fearing for her younger sister Kioni after she learned she and her mother were heading off on a trip in the coming weeks.
Mila intervened and urged her mother not to hurt Kioni, but Nyangi insisted she’d be ostracised from their community if she didn’t undergo the procedure.
Iqra then decided enough was enough and rang the police, watching from the shadows as Mila’s mother was escorted away.
