EastEnders: The Podcast has been comprised of four standalone audio dramas, with each one closely linked to the ongoing stoylines in the BBC One soap.
The third instalment is entitled I Won't Back Down, and sees Sonia, played by Natalie Cassidy, visit the beloved character in hospital shortly before his emotional death.
While he sleeps, Dr Legg's [Leonard Fenton] dreams detail his experiences in the Battle of Cable Street, and add more detail to his first meeting with wife Judith Martin.
EastEnders fans were left devastated when the iconic character's final scenes aired earlier this month, with Dr Legg succumbing to his cancer battle after finally returning home to close friend Dot Branning's house.
The two discussed Dr Legg's love for Judith after Dot put on a documentary about fascism in the UK in the '30s and '40s.
As he slipped away, emotional Dot told her friend: "Go and kiss her, go and kiss her again."
Viewers were left sobbing over the heartbreaking scenes, taking to Twitter to share their despair at Dr Legg's death.
Previous episodes in the podcast have followed Kat Slater and Alfie Moon, as well as Mel Owen and Ray Kelly.
If fans would like to get one last insight into Dr Legg's character, the latest podcast will be available on BBC Sounds for the next seven days.
