A DANCING on Ice star has announced their shock split after five and a half years together – months after competing on the show.
The celebrity contestant took to Instagram to announce that he and his boyfriend had made the decision "to part ways".
The Vivienne took to social media on Friday afternoon to reveal that the couple had waved goodbye after "five and a half years".
The iconic drag queen, real name James Lee Williams, asked his fans to "respect their privacy" after announcing the news.
"As many may have noticed, David and I have been apart recently," he penned in a post, typed out on a white background.
"We have made the decision to part ways after an amazing five and half years. We are still very much friends, but sometimes life gets in the way and people grow apart.

"We wish each the absolute best and will always be part of each other's lives. We'd ask that you please respect our privacy at this time."
The couple signed off the message from "James and David".
Their friends and fans flooded the comments section to gather round him, sending him "so much love" and "best wishes".
"Always a place for you both, lots of love," one said, as another chimed in: "Best wishes and so much love to you both."

"So sorry to hear and available to take you out whenever you are free," Vanessa Feltz chimed in under the post.
It comes after James took part in Dancing On Ice as his drag act The Vivienne – making it through to the final.
The star was partnered up with professional skater Colin Grafton, making history as the first drag act pairing.
After making it through to the final of the show, The Vivienne revealed her impressive weight loss from the programme.
The Vivienne could be seen pouting as she snapped the shot.
Leaving her abdomen exposed, the 30-year-old TV personality showed off her two stone weight-loss in the selfie.
She captioned the post: "Two and a bit stone down (30 pounds) I will carry on skating forever! Best shape I’ve ever been in and feel so comfortable in my own skin."
