Talking openly, the star confessed that she had always been a "worrier" before she started acting on the famous cobbles 21-years ago.

When asked by panellist Janet Street-Porter if she felt she had to hide her anxiousness, Samia said: "I never really hid it Janet, I think everyone who knows me knows I'm quite an anxious person and I'm known to be a bit of a worrier and being really cautious with everything.

"I've had anxiety since I was a child and when I was a child ironically my mum took me to the doctors and the doctor first diagnosed asthma because I couldn't get a deep breath.

"So they were giving me inhalers when I was 11 because they thought I had asthma and it wasn't it was anxiety.

"But I think as a child back then in the early 90s, it wasn't really talked about chuldren's mental health and having issues like that."

She added: "But no I've never really hid, I just never talked about it publicly.
