Coronation Street viewers fear for Abi after car engine falls on her

Coronation Street viewers feared for Abi Franklin’s (Sally Carman) life after a car engine fell on her arm during tonight’s episode.

Things haven’t gone well for Abi lately, especially after she found herself unable to say goodbye to twins Charlie and Lexie after Seb (Harry Visinoni) organised a visit.

In the weeks that have followed, she has struggled to come to terms the thought of leaving the twins, so she called social services.

After arranging a day with Seb so she could say goodbye properly, things took an unexpected turn.

While Kevin (Michael Le Vell) went out to take care of breakdown, Abi was left alone in the garage.

As she worked on a car, the engine slipped, crushing her arm.

When Abi was eventually found, she was barely conscious, leaving viewers fearing for her life.

Taking to Twitter to air their concern one tweeted: ‘Please save Abi, I beg.’

Another commented: ‘OMG, poor Abi. Seb’s totally gona assume the worst when she fails to show up to say a final ‘Farewell’ to her precious twins.’

While one added: ‘Oh no, poor Abi.’
