Coronation Street spoilers for April 10 2023

In Monday’s Coronation Street Sarah (Tina O’Brien) takes things to the next level after her car is blocked in and Adam, who is working, is unavailable to help.

Damon (Ciaran Griffiths) offers her a lift to the hotel for her meeting and sits at a nearby table, initially annoying her, but as Lulu the buyer makes disparaging remarks about the designs Damon saunters over, pretending to be a music mogul impressed by her work – and hands Sarah his card with his room number on it.

While his actions cause Lulu to see the designs in a new light, Sarah is furious with Damon and goes to his room to confront him over his interference.

However he’s amused by this and hands her a glass of champagne. After she finishes it she throws caution to the wind and kisses him passionately.

Meanwhile Stephen (Todd Boyce) is dealt a bitter blow after he learns that the Gazette are going to do a piece on the Nippersnapper deal. Ronnie reminds him that Michael deserves some credit and he suggests he joins the meeting with Rufus.

But when Michael heads off to make the tea, Rufus deals Stephen a bitter blow by saying that 25% of the profits isn’t enough, and that he would like 50% instead, leaving Stephen reeling.

Despite Stephen’s attempts to keep Michael away from the meeting by sending him out to take Sarah more designs, Rufus meets him in the street and offers him a job in his London office.

Glenda (Jodie Prenger) has a big decision to make also after Estelle (Ruthie Henshall) tells her that the Weatherfield franchise of Little Big Shotz is up for grabs, and it’s hers for just £5,000.

Glenda tells George and Eileen she has accepted the offer but needs to find the money, which George plans to lend her. But when he tells Eileen, she insists it’s a scam, and tells him he will live to regret it.

Elsewhere Melvyn and his dog Freddie call at the cafe for Roy and set off to visit a local bat roost.

Roy (David Neilson) later returns to the cafe clutching Freddie, and explains to Shona and Nina how Melvyn had a funny turn and ended up in hospital, leaving nobody to look after the dog.

And there’s potential trouble for Paul after he calls Damon looking for more work, and he instructs him to steal a car and call the number he gave him.

Coronation Street continues on Monday night on ITV at 8pm.
