Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders all pulled from air tonight

It’s bad news for soap fans tonight as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders have all been pulled from air.

This is because the FA Cup will be airing on both ITV1 and BBC One, which means no room for the usual shows.

On BBC One, coverage of the Sheffield United v Tottenham Hotspur’s game will be broadcasted from 7:30-10pm.

While on ITV1, three hours of football (7-10pm) will cover the Manchester United vs West Ham United match.

Never fear though, as due to the fact schedules have been a bit all over the place so far this week, extra episodes of the three soaps will be airing as we head towards the weekend.

When are the soaps on this week?

Tomorrow night, one episode of EastEnders will air from 7:30-8pm, while Emmerdale and Coronation Street will both air for one hour on ITV1 (7pm for Emmerdale, followed by Corrie).

On Friday, to get things back to normal, EastEnders will be broadcasted, again from 7:30-8pm, and the schedule will remain the same for the ITV soaps, with Corrie and Emmerdale airing at 7 and then 8pm.

What is happening in the soaps this week?

Thursday and Friday’s episodes of Emmerdale will focus on Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) storyline, which will see him contemplate ending his life as he struggles with depression and isolation.

Over in Coronation Street, Daisy’s (Charlotte Jordan) nightmare will continue as stalker Justin (Andrew Still) fails to leave her alone, which will eventually lead into a terrifying part of the plot that’ll see Justin target Daisy in an acid attack.

And in EastEnders, it’s an emotional time for Whitney (Shona McGarty) and Zack (James Farrar) as they say goodbye to their baby, who was diagnosed with Edwards’ Syndrome.
