BBC Breakfast fans enjoyed seeing Victoria Fritz on their screens for a second day and have called for her role to be made more permanent.

Sally Nugent and Jon Kay normally present the morning show from inside the studio on Monday to Wednesday, but there was a major format shake-up once again.

The 38-year-old replaced Sally on the red sofa and presented solo in the studio once again while Jon reported live outside 10 Downing Street.

Like yesterday, the 52-year-old held his spot outside the London residence as the country prepares to welcome Rishi Sunak as the next Prime Minister.

But it was Sally's absence that got the viewers talking as they took to social media to point out how great a job she is doing, with many exclaiming that she should sit on the red sofa more often.
