Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway moved tonight for Six Nations rugby – so fans need to make sure not to miss it | The Sun

ANT and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is on at a later time tonight as ITV's main channel is turned over to rugby coverage.

The programme, which is enjoyed by millions, has had to make way for two Six Nations matches today.


ITV1 has a packed afternoon of live sport, with coverage of France v Wales starting at 1.55pm and Ireland v England at 4.30pm.

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will then air at the later time of 7.15pm and wrap up at 8.45pm.

The show, which is usually on at 7pm, will be followed in the schedules by singing show Starstruck and The Jonathan Ross Show.

However, it will be no less packed, with bosses revealing some of the highlights we can expect tonight.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be welcoming Hollywood actress Toni Collette to the studio as this week's guest announcer.

There is also a 'Get Out Of Me Ear' hidden camera stunt starring Joe Wicks, who leaves a workman at his home nervous as he munches a whole cauliflower while cackling about brain-eating zombies.

There's also the return of Singalong Live and another episode of the celeb-packed drama Murder At Bigwig Manor.

Singer Jake Shears will play out the programme in the End of the Show Show.

There is sport over on BBC One too, with Match of the Day Live showing Manchester City v Burnley in the FA Cup before Michael McIntyre's The Wheel.

This is the second weekend ITV has shown live rugby, last week showing Italy v Wales and England v France.
